Make Up | Maybelline Super Stay Nail Polish

This nail polish is turning into my go to nail polishes. This is Maybelline's Forever Strong Super Stay 7 Days Gel Nail Colour. I have been really into pastel colours for my nails at the moment. And that's why I bought this beautiful pale mint green called 615 Mint for Life. Its a really uplifting colour and goes with everything.

These polishes are really good and are long lasting. I think the 7 days is a push though I would say more like 4 or 5. But still that is pretty amazing for a nail polish. The price of these polishes is about £4 which isn't bad at all. I would recommend this polish and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

What do you think of this polish formula? Which other polishes would you recommend?

Make Up | Rimmel Haul

I recently bought some new items from Rimmel London and thought I'd share what I got with you guys!

Firstly, I bought two eyeliners, which are retractable rather than pencil. I opted for this eyeliner as I hate sharping pencil eyeliners I find it makes a lot of mess and the liner runs out quicker. This eyeliner is called Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer by Rimmel London. I got two colours 212 Rich Brown and 240 Aqua Sparkle. My everyday pencil eyeliner is usually brown which is why I bought this colour, plus it is waterproof so I hope this means less smudging over the day. There is a foam dome on the other end to buff the liner into place which is handy on the move. I got the blue eyeliner as I noticed in a lot of the fashion shows there were make up looks with bright blue lined lids rather than black and I thought I'd try it out. I think it will look quite fun. I am very happy with these two eyeliner and may post a look using them in the future. Click here for a link to this product.

The other item I bought was the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory. I use the concealer everyday and I have been meaning to purchase a foundation for special occasions. This foundation is very light and hydrating also has SPF 15 in it which is very good. I also think it smells really nice and fresh so you don't feel like your about to cake your skin with a heavy product. This foundation also brightens your face as it has tiny specks of shimmer in it. I will also post a look using this foundation in the future. Click here for a link to this product.

That's everything I purchased from Rimmel London, which products are you loving from them at the moment?

Makeup | Zoeva Classic Brush Set

I haven't written about anything make up related in a while, so I thought I'd talk about one of my favourite brush sets by Zoeva. I received this brush set for christmas last year and I have been absolutely loving them ever since.

I will start by talking about the main face brushes in this set. Starting from the left is a lovely 125/Stippling brush, great to use with cream blushes. This brush is amazing to blend with and feels so soft on the face.

Then we have the 128/Cream Cheek brush, which I use as a contour brush actually. I think it is a great shape for putting your contour into the hollows of your cheeks.

Next we have the 105/ Luxe Highlight brush, I use this on my cheeks with my shimmer blushes, which act as a blusher and highlighter. It's the perfect size for my cheeks as I have a small face but I can see why it is meant to be a highlighter blush.

The last brush 142/ Concealer Buffer brush, I do use this to buff in my concealer and it is perfect for this! I absolutely love this brush I think its the best one out of the whole set! I would highly recommend using this type of brush for applying concealer.

Moving on to the eye brushes, I really like using these brushes on my eyes some more than others.

Starting from the left we have the 228/ Luxe Crease brush. This brush is perfect for buffing in eyeshadow into the crease of your eyelid. It's a very soft brush too, and I also use it as a general buffing in all my eyeshadow brush.

Then I use 227/ Luxe Soft Definer brush, and this brush is lovely too also great for buffing into the crease of the eye. It's is a all round great eyeshadow brush!

Next 230/ Luxe Pencil brush, I think this is intended to buff in pencil eyeliner. I tend to use it to apply shadow under my eye, which it is perfect for! You can be very precise with this and it works it into the areas you want very easily.

Lastly we have 317/ Wingliner Brush, this brush is amazing for applying eyeliner or marking where you would like you eyeliner. I use this with black eyeshadow to apply where I would like to put my eyeliner, this makes it much easier! I also sometimes just use it to apply dark eyeshadow to line my eyes.

And that is all the brushes from the Classic Brush set by Zoeva. This set is £60, which is quite a lot but you have to think of it as an investment into some great quality brushes that will last a long time. Click here for the link.

What are you favourite make up brushes?

Fashion | Summer Bikinis 2015

I thought I'd write a blog post on my favourite styles of bikinis for this year. I have selected four, because when I was making my selection I realised I kept wanting to choose the same styles over and over so I thought this number and options gave a good variety.

As I mentioned in my last post I am going on holiday soon to Santorini in Greece so I am busy buying all my bits for that. And that's why I will be writing many summer related blog post at the moment.

1. This bikini is from Topshop and it is my absolute favourite as I have purchased this number! I think the print is beautiful and colourful with lovely floral illustrations. I also love the white background its a very up lifting colour combination ideal for a hot summer vacation. Click here for link.

2. The next bikini is from Accessorize/Monsoon and it is a strapless style. Normally the strapless style comes with attachable straps as an option. I think for tanning purposes this bikini is ideal as you won't get those annoying strap lines. The aztec print is very nice too and I especially like it in black and white. Click here for link.

3. This bikini is also from Accessorize/Monsoon and a plunge neck style. This is more a practical bikini great to actually swim in. This style suits anyone and is a classic bikini look. I love the stripe print, it suits the seaside! Click here for link.

4. And finally we have this blue bikini from Topshop. I do love printed bikinis but I think sometimes you need a block colour option as well. This is the same style as the other Topshop bikini, you can wear this style strapless as well I believe. Click here for link.

That's all my bikini favourites for this summer. Let me know what your favourite style is in the comments.

Fashion | Summer Sandals 2015

I am going on holiday to Greece soon, so all I have been looking at in shops are summer essentials. One of the main things I've been looking at are sandals. There are so many kinds to choose from, I have narrowed my search to these five as my favourites. My selection has mainly been looking for delicate and pretty sandals opposed to the chunkier kind. This is just my personal preference at the moment.

1. These are gold shimmery sandals from Asos. I think this pair look comfortable and would go with shorts or dresses. I don't know why but I really like gold sandals at the moment. I think it's because they reflect the light, they are quite up lifting.

2. This pair are from Accessorize, they have a decorative beaded strap. This sandal is the Thong style, which I am really liking. I am not so sure if they would be comfortable to do a lot of walking in but for an evening meal these would be lovely.

3. This pair are my favourite they are from Topshop. I love them because they are so simple and with gold on them again. The delicate straps would look lovely with a maxi dress or skirt in particular.

4. This is another Thong style pair from Accessorize. I really like sandals with decorative stones on them, in particular blue stones. This pair would be idle to wear out in the evening to a lovely meal. I wouldn't wear these in the daytime for lots of walking.

5. Yet another Thong style from Accessorize, the decorative bead work is not as bold as the previous sandals. I think these are much more subtle but still very beautiful to wear. You possibly could wear this pair during the daytime too. They would look great with denim shorts.

And that's my current favourite pairs of sandals. There are many other styles on trend too but these are just my personal favourites.

What is your favourite style of sandals?

Skincare | Bodyshop Haul

I recently ventured into my favourite shop, The Bodyshop. I wanted to try out some new things and some classics, which I have heard many other beauty bloggers talking about.

First of all, I thought it was about time to try out the Camomile Cleansing Oil. Now this product is raved about ALOT, and I have been eager to try it out. All you have to do is massage one pump onto you face and it starts to break down your make up. It also cleanses your skin at the same time. I am going to give it a go and give you my verdict at a later date!

Then I decided that I wanted to try the Fuji Green Tea, Bath Tea which is part of the Bodyshop's new Fuji Green Tea collection. I have also heard this being raved about and how it smells amazing. I have to say when I opened that tin and smelt the amazingness inside I was sold then and there! I also love the idea of putting the tea infuser into my bath and brewing a gorgeous smelling bubble bath.

Lastly, I thought I'd try out some of the Bodyshop's make up range. I wanted to try out a new black eyeliner because I'm still not happy with my current liner. This is the Bodyshop's Skinny Thin Felt Eyeliner and when I tried it out on my hand it seems very easy to use. I will let you know how good it is once I have tried it on my eyes.

And that's everything I bought on my latest trip into the Bodyshop and am very excited to try these items out!

What's your favourite product at the Bodyshop at the moment? Let me know in the comments.

Fashion | The Fishtail Braid

I have been obsessed with this hair trend lately. It took one watch of a tutorial on Youtube and I was hooked on creating this Fishtail braid. I think it's unique and it looks messy yet sophisticated.

Once you have seen how to create this braid, it adds a whole new look into your routine. I was getting sick of putting my hair up into a top knot, don't get me wrong I do still love the top knot but sometimes I want to switch things up a bit. Also, braiding your hair is good for it, it keeps it in great condition.

The great thing about this braid is you can dress it up or dress it down. I tend to do the side braid the most for work as I think it looks quite sophisticated but interesting. As the ladies at work say "it's a plait but not a normal plait".

I have seen many celebs wearing this braid quite loose too and I quite like that look. I need to work on creating that style. I do tend to have trouble with my hair because it tends to slip out of shape, so when creating a loose look it may eventually just all fall out! But I will work on a solution to that problem and will let you guys know in the future.

I also like to create two braids as well, this is a more casual look for me. It's more fun than the single braid. Great for a day of spring cleaning wearing denim dungarees!

Anyway, this is a great look and definitely on trend at the minute. I will leave a tutorial for you all to learn this style of braid too and once you know how you'll be just as addicted as me!

Fashion | Accessories Haul

I recently treated myself to some new accessories as a couple of weeks ago it was my birthday. I have been wanting these items for quite a while now.

I'll begin by talking about the jewellery I bought. Now, I know I've been going on and on about statement necklace and how obsessed I am with them. On the other side I do like dainty delicate jewellery as well, for days when you don't want it to take away from an outfit. I bought a very small necklace with a simple silver tube on it, this necklace sits quite high up on the collar bone area. It's a very sweet sophisticated necklace and I love it. Its from Accessorize and is part of the Sterling Silver range at £12.99.

The three rings are also from Accessorize Sterling Silver range. I own quite a few other rings with stones like amber, so I always look for rings which will look good along side them. These three are perfect for this, you can also wear them as thumb rings. They are also very dainty and delicate and look lovely worn with the necklace. They were £12.99 which isn't bad at all for real sterling silver rings!

And lastly I treated myself to a new pair of sunglasses from Topshop. These are called Sophie Cateye sunglasses in black. You can also get them in a tortoiseshell colour as well. I I love them because they are big and dramatic yet they don't over power your look too much. They also look nice on smaller faces, I have a small face and find that these glasses fit really well which is an unusual find on the highstreet! They were only £16 which I think is a great price for sunglasses and I cannot wait to wear these on holiday.

That's everything I bought, I would recommend all these items! I shall leave links down below for you.
