Make Up | Blue Eyeliner Look

Hey guys, so today I thought I would share with you a fun blue eyeliner look. This look would be great for a festival, as it is so fun and bright. I think it is a playful alternative to the classic black wingliner look.

To create this look I started by moisturising my face with The Body Shop's Aloe Soothing Gel, which I find is the perfect base before applying my make up. Next I put Rimmel's Wake Me Up concealer in 001 Ivory under my eyes, round my nose and on my chin. This helps to even out my skin tone, as I do suffer from some redness. After that I took my bronzer by Barry M and contoured slightly, and then generally put it everywhere that the sun would hit my face. I wanted to create a really sunkissed look on my skin, while allowing my freckles to still show through.

I know I haven't show the product in the picture below, but I applied Maybeline's Satin Brow in Medium Brown to my eyebrows. This added subtle definition to them and framed my face.

Once I had done my face, I moved on to the all important blue liner look. I started by covering my eyelid in the shade Foxy in my Naked 2 palette by Urban Decay. This was so I had a lovely matte base before applying the liner. I also popped a bit of the shade Tease into the crease of my eyelid for some definition. And then I turned to applying my blue eyeliner, I used Rimmel's Exaggerate Retractable eye pencil in the colour 240 Aqua Sparkle. I started by creating a line along my top lashes, and then began to wing this out at the corners as well as taking it under the eye. Once I had applied it I then smudged it into place, and then added another layer before smudging it slightly again. By doing this in two layers it created a very intense line. Next to add even more definition I took an angled brush and applied the shade Black Out along the top lash line.

Once I was happy that the liner was all blended into place I finished it off with a new mascara I purchased recently by Rimmel called Wonder'full in black. And then last but not least I applied my favourite lipstick Soap & Glory's Motherpucker Gloss Stick in Nudist. I used this lipstick as it doesn't take away from the eyes.

And that is how I created this blue liner look! I hope you have enjoyed reading and that I have inspired you try out a bright liner!

Fashion | Summer 2015 Shorts

Hi guys, I thought I would share with you my pick of shorts for summer 2015.

1. First of all I have picked this amazing pair of denim Mom shorts from Topshop. I bought these shorts for my holiday as I wanted a really good pair of classic denim shorts that will go with many different style tops. This is one of my best buys for my holiday I love them! They are so comfortable and look really stylish but casual. Click here for the link.

2. Next I have picked these Adidas shorts from Topshop. They are a sport style short with a tropical print, which I think makes them look very feminine for a pair of sport shorts. I think these would look great with a white t-shirt or vest and would be great to wear on a hot day. Click here for the link.

3. This pair of shorts is more of a formal style from Topshop. They are a beautiful floral print with a lace trim around the hem. You could wear these in the day or evening with a plain top either black or white. Click here for the link.

4. These shorts are from New Look and they are a lovely black and white aztec print with a lace trim round the hem. I love these because they are a relaxed casual style yet are very sleek looking. They would also be extremely comfortable in hot weather, ideal for a holiday. Click here for the link.

5. Next we have a longer alternative pair of shorts to the others from New Look. I think these would be great to wear on those days when you don't want to get your legs out completely. Also very good for the British summer weather. Click here for the link.

6. Finally I have chosen this pair of lace/crochet pair of black shorts from New Look. I think these are very subtle compared to a pair of shorts with bright floral print. I think you could wear these shorts with any colour vest or t-shirt. Click here for the link.

That's all my summer 2015 picks for shorts, I hope this gives you some ideas on what style of shorts to go for this summer. What is your favourite style?

Fashion | Summer Dresses 2015

Hi guys, so as the weather has warmed up a lot recently I thought I'd share my pick of summer dresses for 2015. I have selected over a wide variety of styles to choose from, whether your going on holiday or if you going out for a picnic here in the UK.

1. This is a beautiful maxi dress from Topshop, which is ideal for a summer's evening. If you're going out for a nice meal and want to cover your legs up this dress is perfect. I love the floral pattern on this particular dress. For me maxi dresses are tricky as I am quite short, but it's easy to take up a dress like this especially when it is made from a cotton rather than stretch fabric. Click here for the link.

2. Here we have a lovely dress with straps and beautiful floral embellishment from Topshop. This is dress is very pretty and petite, it can be worn in the day or evening. You can dress it up or down depending on how it is accessorised. It's an all round winner to me as an easy go to outfit, especially when on holiday. Click here for the link.

3. This is petite style denim dress from Topshop. It's a very 90's style dress, which I would wear on the slightly cooler summer days. This would look great with a striped vest or t-shirt underneath. Click here for the link.

4. Here is a dress perfect for beach days, it's from H&M. I actually bought this dress for my holiday and it is so light and airy perfect for the beach. I wore it in the evenings as well and it was a little chilly to wear. It's best for the day and the beach. Click here for the link.

5. This is an alternative to a dress, it's a really simple playsuit from H&M. It's perfect for the day time, and will be very light to wear in the heat. Click here for the link.

6. Finally this is another alternative to some of the more classic style dresses, this is a long t-shirt style from H&M. This is perfect for the UK weather, as it's slightly warmer. I love the simple casual style, almost a Parisian look about it, depending on how you accessorise it. Click here for the link.

That's all my picks, I hope you find this helpful when choosing styles of dresses for this summer.

Skincare | Bodyshop Haul

Hey guys, before I went off on holiday I had a small spending spree in The Bodyshop. I wanted to purchase new face creams and in particular a night cream.

First of all I picked up Aloe Soothing Night Cream, up until recently I have been using the same cream day and night. I wanted to see what difference it does make to use a specific night cream at night time. When my skin has been out in the sun all day this night cream feels amazing to put on after cleansing my face. It is a lot richer than a day cream, but it feels like at night time your locking in the moisture lost throughout the day. So, so far so good with this little pot.

Secondly, I bought Aloe Soothing Gel I particularly picked this up for my holiday as I thought it would be much lighter than cream when it's hot. I think this is my favourite out of the three as it is so light but moisturising at the same time. If your suffer from oily skin I think this would be a great product to use as it soaks into your skin so quickly leaving no shine.

Lastly, I bought the Seaweed Pore Perfector, this is meant to help minimise pores. I do feel I have quite large pores on my nose and chin and thought I would see if this product can help me. I only apply it to these two areas as the rest of my face doesn't need it. I haven't notice any drastic changes yet but I will keep you posted.

I have found that these three items were perfect for my holiday, especially the Aloe products as it is so soothing after being in the sun all day.

That's everything I have bought and would recommend these products. What are your favourite summer skin products to use?
