Make Up | Maybelline FIT Me Concealer

Hey guys!

Today I want to review this concealer, FIT Me Concealer by Maybelline. I picked this up as I had heard it was a great concealer for all purposes and blended well.

I got the shade fair, which I have come to the conclusion is a little too dark for my skin tone. I agree that this concealer is very blend-able and that it buffs into the skin beautifully. I just find that the consistency is too creamy for my skin and I end up look quite shiny. I also broke out with several blemishes after I first started using this concealer so that has really put me off this product.

I think if you have dry skin then this would be a good concealer, because I have combination and quite and oily t-zone this just hasn't worked for me. So I'd recommend to give this a go if you have dry skin.

I hope this review was helpful and thanks for reading!

Make Up | Chocolate Bon Bons Eyeshadow Palette by Too Faced

This absolute beauty of an eyeshadow palette is the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette by Too Faced. It was my birthday last weekend and I was very kindly given this as a present. It is gorgeous and I had been eyeing it up for a while, and was so pleased received this!

For a start the packaging is beautiful, I love that the eyeshadows are in little heart shapes I think it is so cute! Also it smells of cocoa so every time you apply this you get the gorgeous scent of chocolate.

The range of colours is great, a good mix of matte and shimmer shades. There are a couple of bright colours as well to create brighter eye looks. Overall, a very natural range of colours which I love and the shimmer eyeshadows are great with no horrible chunky glitter in them. Amazing quality pigmentation in the colours as well as being very build-able to create as much intensity as you like.

The colours in this palette are particularly great for spring with the beautiful pink shades. I will be doing a look post using this palette soon. I have been using this palette for a week and so far so good! I can't wait discover more looks with this palette.

I would definitely recommend spending the money on this beautiful palette, it is a high end product but very much worth it!

Skincare | Gradual Tan Haul

Summer is approaching us and I wanted to try out some gradual tan items and see how I get on with them.

The first item is for my body, Derma Spa Summer Revived Gradual Tan by Dove. I bought the one targeted for fair to medium skin. I recently watched Anna Saccone-Joly's video on her tanning routine and she recommends this product. I will see how I get on I think I will only apply it once or twice a week. I will get back to you with a full review in a couple of months time.

The second item is for my face, Sun-kissed Moisture Cream by Simple. This is applied evenly to your face and neck once a day. The cream creates a natural light tan. I probably will not use this on a daily basis as I really only want a light colour on my face. Again I will review this in a couple of months and let you know how I found it.

I really look forward to testing both these items out and see how natural a glow they give.

Make Up | Real Techniques Duo-Fibre Brushes Set

Hi Guys! I bought these brushes a couple of months ago and wanted to give you a little review on them. I already own several Real Techniques brushes and they are one of my favourite brushes to use. This is the Duo-Fibre brush set.

My favourite from the set is the pink contour brush, it is amazing for contouring and creates a lovely soft look. I use it everyday and it is a winner for me!

The little eye brush is brilliant blending out your eyeshadow once finished packing on the colour. It works a treat and doesn't feel scratchy on the eyelids.

Lastly, is the huge bronzer brush. I don't use this one as much mainly because I am not packing on the bronzer most days at the moment. But is great for lightly dusting it all over your face for the most natural look.

All in all this brush set is amazing a worth the purchase.

Make Up | Revolution Baked Bronzer & Blusher

Today, I wanted to talk about a new product I have discovered. I have heard great things about Revolution eyeshadows so when I saw these baked blushers and bronzer I thought I would try them out.

They are so affordable and so pigmented! For £2.50 for the blushes, which is amazing for the quality of the product.

I bought two of the blushers in shades Hard Day and Bang Bang. Hard day is the one in the bottom right of the photo, a beautiful muted pink. I love the way this looks and it is perfect as it highlights as well, a great everyday blush.

Bang Bang is a bright pink, and is perfect for spring and summer. This goes very nicely with pink eye makeup.

Both very shimmery blushes so if you aren't a fame I'd stay clear of these. But it is a beautiful shimmer with no cheap glitter in the formula.

The baked bronzer shade I choose is Ready To Go, this is £4.00. It's a classic shimmer bronze perfect for fair to medium skin tones. All you need to do is sweep this round your face and it adds a lovely subtle glow.

I highly recommend giving these a go and for the prices it's a no brainer!

Make Up | Natural Spring Look

A make up look for you today!

This is a look I created the other day and I thought to myself its the perfect natural spring look. So I thought I would share with you the products I used to create this.

First I will talk you through my face base. After moisturising I apply my go to primer, Insta Blur by The Body Shop. Then I take my Kick Ass All Is Calm Concealer Stick by Soap&Glory. I apply this normally around my nose and on my chin, which is where I suffer with redness. Then I apply my foundation, Wake Me Up 100 Ivory, Rimmel London. I love this foundation as it makes my face look so radiant. Then I conceal around my nose and chin with my Lasting Perfection Concealer by Collection in 1 Fair. For my under eyes I use Wake Me Up Concealer 001 Ivory by Rimmel London.

I then like to set my concealer in place with Seventeen Contour Kit, the lighter shade. I find this powder really brightens my under eyes especially. Next I contour with the other side of the palette. This is my favourite palette contour with, it is so soft and natural. Then the blusher I always go to is the Love at First Blush blusher by Soap&Glory.

For my eyebrows I used my Tanya Burr Cosmetics Eyebrow Palette, I mix the shades
Pebble and Hot Cocoa together. After that I highlight my brow bone and in corner of my eye with Fairy Cake. I then set my brows with Maybelline Brow Drama in Transparent.

For my eye look I start with Creamy Beige, Colour Tattoo by Maybelline. Then I take from my Tanya Burr Cosmetics Eyebrow Palette, the shade Chestnut and blend this into the outer corner and crease of the lid. Next I take an eyeliner pencil Exaggerate 212 Rich Brown Rimmel London, I put this in my tide line and water line. I then take it along the lash line roughly as I then take a pencil brush and smudge it out. This exaggerates the lashes amazingly. Finally I add a number of layers of mascara, Thick&Fast by Soap&Glory.

Lastly to add a pop of spring colour I put on my lips Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in the shade Nud-ist. I personally think the name doesn't reflect the vintage pinky colour it actually is.

And that is how I create this really simple and natural spring look.

Nails | SuperGel, Rimmel London

I am so excited to talk about this nail polish it is unreal!

I bought this new nail polish thinking it says its long lasting but is it? Really? Yes, I can tell you it is. Now I wouldn't say it last 14 days as it says without chipping, but I found it lasted at least 4-5 days without chipping. Even when it did start to chip it was only slightly.

The first colour I picked up was Cocktail Passion 032, this is a lovely coral red shade. Great for Spring and Summer! The magical part is the Super Gel top coat, this is what makes the polish last a long time!

After discovering this nail polish formula, I thought this is nothing compared to my other nail polish. I even wore a different nail polish after being so impressed with the Cocktail Passion shade and I thought I need to get some more colours!

So I bought 3 as there was a 3 for 2 deal at Superdrug. One of shades is what I am wearing as I am typing this, it is Bare Hug 013, a beautiful grey shade.

The other 2 colours I am yet to wear are New Romantic 021, which is a very light baby pink, also good for spring. And the last one is Blue Babe 052, also a spring colour.

Now I have a great little selection. If I fall even more in love with formula I may need to get a few more! If you want to see what the second two look like on my nails stay tuned to my instagram page where I will post pictures of them.

I recommend this nail polish so highly! It is AMAZING!

Make Up | Sleek Haul!

Hello guys!

Today I want to talk about a couple of products I picked up from Sleek.

Sleek is an amazing drugstore brand, it is very affordable and I have heard their products are great quality for their price, which is why I decided to try out a couple of products.

The first item I picked up was an eyeshadow palette. I know I am addicted to purchasing eyeshadow palettes! I couldn't resist this one as it is a nice mixture of matte and shimmer shades. As well as being a nice mixture of natural colours.

I cannot wait to start to use this palette, I can tell I am going to be able to create many looks with this palette. This would be a great palette to travel with.

Secondly, I bought this amazing highlighting palette! I am so excited about this palette, it has been recommended by many beauty bloggers/youtubers. I do not own many highlighters and thought this was a great starter palette. There are 3 powder highlighters and one cream.

I was amazed when I swatched this palette on my hand how pigmented the colours are! Also this is a very diverse palette which you can use as eyeshadows too.

And thats everything I bought, I cannot wait to post about looks I have created using both of these palettes.

Thanks for reading, please comment and suggest any other products to try!
